Player will needs to speak to Jalzahn in Hyrstmill with his/her Novus Weapon equipped. Once your Novus Weapon has been soulglazed by Jalzahn, complete certain activities with the weapon equipped to increase its soul attunement level. By presenting a fully attuned weapon to Jalzahn, you will be rewarded with a Nexus Weapon that retains all the upgrades made to the original Novus Weapon.

You will need 2000 Lights on your weapon to finish its Soul Attunement. A weapon’s soul attunement level will rise by a set amount determined by the activity being performed. This amount, however, may increase each time a certain period of time passes.

Light values are as follows:

  • Feeble (2)
  • Gentle (4)
  • Bright (8)
  • Brilliant (12)
  • Blinding (24)
  • Newborn Star (32)


Attunement progress can be verified through the use of the Zodiac glass. Upon reaching a new tier, the flavour text will change.

Light tiers (activity) are as follows:

  • No Activity (0 - 199)
  • Indistinct Activity (200 - 399)
  • Faint Activity (400 - 599)
  • Slight Activity (600 - 799)
  • Modest Activity (800 - 999)
  • Distinct Activity (1000 - 1199)
  • Robust Activity (1200 - 1399)
  • Vigorous Activity (1400 - 1599)
  • Intense Activity (1600 - 1799)
  • Extreme Activity (1800 - 1999)
  • Bursting Activity (2000+)


Activity windows change every 2 hours and can be viewed on Reddit.

Light values differ depending on the type of event that is currently active. Light values in brackets are bonus values and do not always appear. However, take note that there are activities not listed below which also yield lights. Again, check the Reddit list for real-time updates. The following are just some examples:
